The wound

I have an excuse to attack the football this week to talk about these radio hosts who run the démagico-nationalism, and whose drivers are fond of. Everyone its time to fix the chain! Nevertheless, this misadventure Jamaican leaves a bitter taste in the mouth of Ayiti. In fact, it turns the knife in the wound .... the wound. Here, everybody knows the historical association between AIDS and 4 H. Homosexuals, hemophiliacs, heroin users and Haitians. From the beginning of the epidemic, the Haitians have been wrong to go with this idea ingrained in the USA that the disease had been imported by a Haitian. Go to MEDLINE (the database of scientific publications in medicine) you even find the whole debate 'scientific' about the case, because there is debate. You still have to identify 'the' first tree that is burned in a wildfire! This idea was thus created major problems for Haitians who traveled to the USA (or elsewhere) in the late 80s. At the time, blood banks of several countries refused the Haitians. A little discomfort. Cholera also generates for Haitians the same kind of suspicious behavior, you should have seen the French government representative on our arrival in Guadeloupe last December. Wise guy, but still close to racial profiling. In the case of the football team of under 17 years, Jamaica seems to have smashed a door open, still manage to do damage. That tells you ... The apology from the Jamaican Minister of Foreign Affairs does not alter the fact that Haiti has been removed from the competition. Of a scratch in the mirror of this country that so loves to look so beautiful. Say that in its relations with partners of the Caribbean, Haitians continue to play the role of scabby wound. They are the only people in the CARICOM do not have access to the regional visa (Caricom special visa) which allows them to move into the area and come in several other countries (eg Canada). The beauty of the matter is to remember the exit of the Minister of Health, calling for Haitians, a few weeks ago, not to sink into a witch hunt among foreigners who had (allegedly) led the cholera in Ayiti. Using his own example (rejected in blood banks when he was living in Belgium), he reminded his countrymen that the amalgam would give a bad image of his country.
